We are a collaborative, flexible and above all creative bunch, who can call on an array of skills whenever we require. We care about our clients and are able to build close, long lasting partnerships with our design team involved in every project we take on.

Mark Green

Started my design career in London during the eighties, where I worked for major high street brands such as House of Fraser and John Lewis. In 2000 I returned to Devon and started Fruition the same year. Working with a wide range of leisure and retail companies both locally and nationally as the head of my own company has been a hugely rewarding challenge.

Being based in Devon gives us the opportunity to work with some of the leading businesses in the region and develop long term professional relationships.

Seeing good design help a clients project come to life and make people smile – I never get tired of that.

Now you know…

My daughters call me a Merman, because I am in the sea all year round. Mainly open water (wild) swimming and body boarding, but I also enjoy a days fishing.

Louise Hart

Associate Interior Designer

After studying Interior & Spatial Design at Chelsea College of Art & Design I gained experience in space planning for AWW Architects and Hewlett Packard in Bristol. I was also with Atkins as a commercial interior designer where I was responsible for working on a variety of projects both in the UK and abroad. These projects varied in sector and included education, university, healthcare, major military schemes, hospitality & leisure and listed buildings, both refurbishments and new build projects.

Being creative is what keeps me going and the variety of each day as a designer is always different and surprising. I’m dedicated to making each project reach its full potential and work to ensure each space not only work perfectly for our clients, but shines and stands out from the crowd.

My latest achievement is holding a yogic headstand for 60 seconds.

Andy Beer

Associate Designer

I graduated from Plymouth University with a degree in MediaLab Arts and have worked as a freelancer and held senior positions in a number of Devon design agencies in both designer and developer roles working for local, national and international clients.

I enjoy the challenge of a design project from the initial stage of identifying the requirement through to the delivery and analysis of its success.

I have been fortunate to work on a number of local and national campaigns and take great pleasure working with clients to turn their ideas and vision into something we are both proud of. I enjoy working with modern technology and am fascinated by the continual change it brings to to our society and culture on a local and global scale.

Now you know…

I like things that begin with a ‘B’ – Bikes, Beer, Burgers and even Brussel sprouts.

Chris Coombes

An eccentric college lecturer sparked my interest in design when he unexpectedly stamped his Dr. Martens boots on a work bench and gave an impassioned talk on branding. I went on to study graphic design at Exeter College before moving to the University of Plymouth where I graduated with a degree in Graphic Communication with Typography.

I now have over 10 years of design experience and enjoy creating brand identities, advertising campaigns, wayfinding systems and signage. I have designed for clients including Merlin Entertainments, LEGO, The Wildlife Trusts, Travel Channel and Photobox.

Now you know…

I love football and if I’m not playing I’m watching. I’m happy to boast that I once scored 36 goals in a single season whilst playing for the illustrious Kenton Dolphins – a record which still stands, but no one seems to care about.

Monika Idziak

Interior Designer

I completed MA Interior Architecture at University of Arts in Poznan and joined Fruition this year.

I have experience in retail and residential design which I gained during spells at design studios in both Poland and England. Being part of international teams broadened my outlook on design and its capabilities, as well as my awareness of style and cultural nuances. I’m looking forward to continuing my design journey with the Fruition team.

Interior design interests me the most for its influence on human psyche. Creating well designed spaces changes the way people feel and behave. It organises our lives – so let’s improve this world with good design!

Now you know…

I am an art lover and a real book worm. I am also a big fan of Agatha Christie – moving to her hometown, Torquay, was definitely a declaration of this love.

Laura Tapper

Junior Interior Designer

A career in design has always been in the forefront of my mind and in 2016 I completed a Foundation Degree in Three Dimensional Design with Distinction. On completion of my degree I obtained work experience with Fruition, which has confirmed my desire to develop my skills and work towards becoming a qualified designer.

In 2016 I was awarded ‘Best Young Artist’ by the South West Academy for a sculptural piece titled ‘The Weakening’. I’m also proud of costumes I designed for the 2016 International UNESCO Geopark conference which was held in here in Torquay.

Knowing you have been a part of the development and creativity of a project is extremely rewarding and fulfilling.

Now you know…

I play centre midfield for a local ladies football team and after one year of playing I am yet to be on the winning team!

Lisa Chandler

Marketing Coordinator

Started life in Lloyds Bank, where I worked for seven years. I then had a brief spell in the marketing department for a local house builder, whilst I did my marketing qualifications at the University of Exeter.

After a maternity break to have my two gorgeous boys I become the Marketing Manager for the Flavel Arts Centre in Dartmouth, where for over ten years I booked live events, art exhibitions and oversaw all marketing activity. My favourite project was organising the annual Dartmouth Comedy Festival, which featured guests including Robbie Coltrane, Eddie Izzard, Jennifer Saunders and Harry Enfield… I won’t say who I needed to book two aeroplane seats for!

Now you know…

Love skiing, but I don’t go down a black… have been known to take my ski boots off and walk back up the slope in a strop to disguise how scared I am!
